School year 2018-19

The 2018 to 2019 volume has 60 stories, and many of them are short ones built on quick polls sent to the whole school: favorite holiday, when Christmas music should start, what to do on a snow day. The longer reporting sits right beside them.

Dawgs Gotta Sleep? uses a school-wide survey to show how late homework keeps students up. Is CAFO Meat on Your Menu? grew out of AP Environmental Science, and Through the Lenses looks at how SUA classes teach about sexual assault and consent. National news ran through the World section, from the attacks of fall 2018 to Nancy Pelosi's return as Speaker. In the spring six students went to the United Nations Commission on the Status of Women in New York and wrote about what they saw there.
